Detailed Itinerary
  Day 1 : Siem Reap Arrival (D):
Upon you arrival at the airport you will be collected by our guide for your transfer to the hotel. After a short rest we head straight out to start the activities. Today’s trip is to the Angkor National Museum – which houses a huge collection of invaluable artifacts that enhance your understanding of the cultural heritage of the Golden Era of Khmer Kingdom. The visit will be lead by Mr Cham Roeurn – the Archeologist and Director of the National Museum.

In the evening you have free time to relax and get to know the city better.
  Day 2 : Angkor Wat Temple (B, L, D):
Today we go for a tour of the magnificent Angkor Complex just north of Siem Reap. This site is famous all over the world and it is sure not to disappoint! We start straight after breakfast by entering the area via the South Gate of Angkor Thom: the list of temples visited during the day is the Bayob Temple, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace, Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo, and of course the legendary Angkor Wat – the ‘7 Wonder of the Ancient World’. The Wat is said to be the largest religious monument on earth and has been listed as a world heritage site since 1992. Revel in the design and talent of the Khmer people of the 12.
  Day 3 : Tour of the Angkor Complex (B, L, D):
An early bird special: Transfer to Angkor for sunrise earlier in the morning. Return for breakfast at the hotel. Continue your visit to the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Then the impressive Bayon Temple, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and finally the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat! This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of over 200 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with Columns, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Early evening, you will be taken by Tuk Tuk, a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia, to cruise around the suburb of Siem Reap town and for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey.

Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap
  Day 4 : Phnom Kulen Mountain (B, L):
Today we transfer to Phnom Kulen and join the pilgrim path up this secret mountain of the Khmers. We stop mid-morning so you can swim in the Waterfall, before carrying on to the summit where there is a pagoda. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the top overlooking the view.

In the afternoon we descend down the mountain heading back to Siem Reap. We take a few stops en route, the first being Banteay Srei temple, beautifully carved and well preserved. Also stops at Preah Dark village and Banteay Samre temple.
  Day 5 : Tonle Sap Lake (B, L):
This morning you will depart by boat to Battambang Province, the major rice grange in Cambodia. Since you will start this early morning trip at 6am, you will enjoy the sunrise and the sounds of awakening animals. This tour by boat continues from Siem Reap with visit of floating fishermen's villages on the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia. The whole day is dedicated to flora and fauna, an observation of birds in the Bird Sanctuary, the largest ornithological reserve of South East Asia. Picnic or lunch in local restaurant is provided. Return to Siem Reap.

Note: Prek Toal is not accessible by boat from April till October of the year due to the low level of water, thus the trip is not recommended during this period.
  Day 6 : Markets – Siem Reap Departure (B):
After breakfast we go shopping at both the Chantiers Ecoles and Psachas markets – which sell fascinating souvenirs for taking home. You will be collected at your hotel for a transfer to the airport and your fantastic 6 day tour is over.

A woman of any nationality is not permitted to touch a monk of any age, or even hand something directly to a monk. However striking up a conversation with a monk is fine.

Visitors don’t need any special vaccinations to enter Cambodia, but it’s wise to ensure you are up to date with standard inoculations before you arrive.

Attention The itinerary may be subject to change due to the unfavorable weather conditions
