Designed to be one of the highlights of your Paradise stay, a highly refined, innovative and varied cuisine will be presented for Lunch and Dinner in the elegant dining-room.

   Day 6: Hue – DMZ private tour – Hue (B, L, G):
During Vietnam-American War, the Ben Hai River was the demarcation line between the warring sides of North and South Vietnam. There was a Demilitarized Zone five km each side from the river, but despite this, the southern area of the DMZ was one of the bloodiest battlefields of the war. Your private tour to the DMZ will take you back to the war sites, including: Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnel, Khe Sanh Combat, Ho Chi Minh Trail, Dong Ha Town and Rock Pile. Each of these sites serves as a sobering reminder of the price of war and will contribute to your understanding of the modern day psyche of the Vietnamese people.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
   Day 7: Hue orientation – Danang – Hoi An (B, L, G):

Followed by a Herbal foot massage and a session of cooking various local dishes including Tam Huu Spring Roll, Banh Xeo, or the local pancake of the local people before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables. The day’s excursion ends when you’ve cycled back to your hotel, on the way stopping at Nhat tomb and Ba Le well.

Trip note
Guests should note that this is a cultural tour of the country, therefore there will be visits to various places of worship, which may require respectful dress and behavior. Female visitors must often wear clothes covering much of their skin – and nothing too revealing.

Hoi An is famous for its tailors – and most will make you anything you desire in under 24 hours! Be sure to have a look and see if there is anything suitable for yourself.

As this tour covers a vast area of the country, you should take note that the north of Vietnam can be cold in the winter. Therefore, if visiting late or early in the year, you should bring a varied range of clothing, as the south has a more year round tropical climate.

The itinerary may be subject to change due to the unfavorable weather conditions
